Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Houston seeks an HR Partner Specialist who drives day-to-day HR execution across the site, partnering with operations leaders to support employee relations, performance, workforce management and engagement.

As the frontline HR contact for managers and staff, you ensure data accuracy, flawless execution and consistent policy application, while tracking headcount and partnering with recruiting on hiring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years HR experience (HRBP, Generalist, or similar role).
• Experience with employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Experience supporting fast-paced, operational environments.
• Ability to balance execution with sound judgment and escalation.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with frontline leaders.
• Comfort working with HR data, metrics, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary actions; elevate high‑risk issues.
• Support performance management process with timely, well-documented execution by managers.
• Provide local input into People Reviews and develop clear plans for key talent.
• Track headcount, vacancies, and attrition; work with recruiting to support hiring needs.
• Serve as first point of contact for managers on HR policies and day-to-day decisions.
• Execute engagement initiatives and support site survey action plans.
• Maintain accurate HR data and report on key metrics; identify trends and risks.
