Job description

Provide guidance and solutions for all human resources operational issues. Be a coach and mentor to the management team for the regional function or industry vertical. Implement and fully understand all HR procedures and policies, ensuring adherence to employment law across your area. Communicate new or updated policies and procedures effectively. Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and global programs. Monitor performance evaluation programs and employee recognition programs as needed. Lead on employee relations issues as they arise and act as a mentor to junior team members.

Experience

Minimum of 4 to 7 years of broad-based HR experience with a comprehensive understanding of local and country-specific employment laws.

Knowledge & Skills

Experience managing and investigating employee relations issues. Knowledge of technical disciplines and work processes, providing investigative, analytic, or diagnostic services affecting a wide range of activities.

General HR Operations

  • Conduct employee onboarding and organize training & development initiatives.
  • Support employees on HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation; resolve issues promptly.
  • Promote HR programs to foster an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Assist in developing and implementing human resource policies.
  • Manage performance appraisal tasks.
  • Report and analyze HR metrics like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly.
  • Deliver development and training programs as needed.
  • Coordinate and update employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health initiatives.

HRIS

  • Maintain recruitment processes within the HRIS system.
  • Ensure accuracy of all employee data changes in HRIS.
  • Participate in processes for appraisals, merit increases, and bonuses as required by the company.

Employee Relations

  • Coordinate and participate in social events, committees, and special projects.
  • Plan company events such as get-togethers, festivals, birthday celebrations, and anniversaries.
  • Support the HR Manager in team-building activities and planning days.
