We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to support our dynamic Health IT Division. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will work with program leadership to develop HR programs by identifying HR strategies that support near and long-term business objectives. The successful candidate will identify opportunities for HR to engage effectively with leadership, demonstrate HR value by aligning to business objectives, and support change management activities.

The successful candidate must:

-Be proactive in identifying resources/strategies and formulating actionable recommendations/options for leadership.

-Act at a trusted partner and advisor to business leaders at various level on organizational structure, workforce planning and talent development through influence, effective communication and active engagement.

- Provide guidance to leaders of assigned client groups on employee relations, performance management, coaching and conflict resolution.

-Collaborate with Corporate Centers of Expertise (COEs) and other functions needed to support the assigned client base to achieve goals.

-Lead or support change management activities as needed.

-Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, perform in depth analysis of programs and policies, and possess the interpersonal skills necessary to interact with employees, and all levels of leadership.

-Must be highly ethical, responsive to client needs, demonstrate strong business acumen, and maintain customer satisfaction levels regarding HR support.

-Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coaching and consulting; developing selection and retention strategies; and delivering on HR programs (e.g. Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation, Rewards and Recognition, Compliance, etc.)

Basic Qualifications

-Prior progressive HR experience as an HR business or HR generalist role

-Demonstrated experience in coaching, partnering, and influencing with all levels of leadership

-Ability to build and leverage enduring relationships in a matrixed environment

-Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations issues and resolve conflict effectively and timely

-Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations to include information and data gathering, analyzing information, and validating conclusions

-Demonstrated experience leading a workforce through change in a challenging environment

-Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

-Demonstrated experience collaborating with various stakeholders to prepare and process workforce reductions

-Demonstrated experience collaborating with various stakeholders to manage and execute proposal activities with rapid timelines

-Strong skills using HRIS systems, i.e. Workday for HR data gathering and reporting

-Highly effective organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

-Ability to work independently and in a remote/virtual environment

-Prior knowledge and experience supporting a Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage Determined (WD) workforce

-Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8-12 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Local to the DC metro area

Willingness to come onsite to Baltimore, Md as needed

Prior government contracting experience

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
