Job summary

The University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking an HR Benefits Representative within Employee Support Services to provide guidance on benefits administration, leave and onboarding experiences, and employee services.

You will collaborate with HR colleagues to support workforce programs, interpret policies, and deliver high-quality service to all UMMC employees, while maintaining discretion and accuracy in handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2 years of experience in HR or benefits administration preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present and explain policies clearly.
• Proficiency with HR systems (Workday, Kronos) and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to employees, interpreting and guiding on policy-related questions.
• Provide employee support in-person, via phone, or email with program guidance.
• Collaborate on benefits and leave administration policies and employee support services programs.
• Interact with carriers and vendor partners to identify and resolve issues.
• Support HR leadership in developing and maintaining employee support programs.
• Assist in measuring employee perception of services for continuous improvement.
