Job summary

The role assists with benefit enrollments, Open Enrollment, onboarding, and maintaining HR records while coordinating with carriers, payroll, and HR team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s in HR/business preferred.
• 0–2 years in HR, benefits, payroll, customer service, or admin role preferred.
• Experience in HR or benefits helpful but not required.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), HSA/FSA).
• Process new hire benefit enrollments and life-event changes; manage terminations.
• Respond to routine benefit questions and resolve enrollment, coverage, and payroll deduction issues.
• Maintain employee benefit data in HRIS and benefit carrier systems.
• Assist with Open Enrollment and prepare communications and tracking.
• Coordinate with benefit carriers, brokers, payroll, and HR team to resolve issues.
• Assist with new hire orientation and prepare orientation materials.
• Coordinate employee uniforms and new hire orders, sizing, and distribution.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and HR record maintenance.
