Job summary

Quality Marine is seeking an HR Administrator to support the HR Manager with documentation, filing, new hire orientation, and benefits enrollment. This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on learning about our company structure and culture to foster effective communication with managers and staff.

You will handle employee files, assist with recruiting and payroll, manage workers’ compensation, and stay current with state and federal labor laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HR coursework or related experience.
• HR Certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain physical and digital employee files.
• Conduct new hire orientation and benefit enrollment.
• Assist with recruiting, including ad placement and resume review.
• Support payroll functions and ensure timely documentation.
• Assist with Workers’ Compensation claims and benefits coordination.
• Administer employee benefits program.
• Maintain confidentiality of HR records and communications.
• Stay up to date with labor law requirements.
• Handle miscellaneous projects and other duties as assigned.
