Job summary

Planet Networks in Newton, NJ is seeking an organized HR Analyst to support People Operations across the full employee lifecycle. You will own data integrity in HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms, and help drive workforce reporting and analytics.

The role requires a few years in HR or People Operations and offers hands-on ownership of core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, open enrollment, and compliance documentation. In-person, full-time role.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of HR/People Operations or admin experience.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills with pivot tables/lookups.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; explain policies clearly.
• Highly organized with repeatable processes documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in HR/Business Admin/Psychology or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HR data across HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms, auditing for errors and gaps.
• Build recurring reports on headcount, turnover, time-to-fill, overtime, and PTO usage.
• Analyze workforce trends and present findings to HR and leadership.
• Support compensation and benefits review cycles with data and modeling.
• Coordinate recruiting activities, onboarding, and offboarding; maintain job description library.
