Job summary

Planet Networks in Newton, NJ seeks an organized HR Analyst to support People Operations across the full employee lifecycle. This role owns the data, records, and day-to-day administration behind HR programs: headcount reporting, benefits and 401(k) administration, HRIS accuracy, onboarding and offboarding, compliance documentation, and recruitment coordination.

This is not an entry-level position; it is ideal for someone with a few years of HR or People Operations experience seeking meaningful

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or admin with HR responsibilities.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Demonstrated accuracy and discretion handling confidential employee information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain policies in plain language.
• Highly organized with track record of documenting repeatable processes.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee data across HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms; audit for errors, gaps, and duplicates.
• Build and maintain recurring reports on headcount, turnover, time-to-fill, overtime, and PTO usage.
• Analyze workforce trends and present findings to HR and leadership in plain terms.
• Support annual compensation and benefits review cycles with data, benchmarking, and modeling.
• Coordinate hiring activity: post openings, schedule interviews, manage candidate communication, and track pipeline status.
