Job summary

Encore Talent Solutions in the United States is seeking an HR Analyst / HR Operations Specialist who will support HR operations, reporting, data analysis, and process improvements, partnering with HR leadership and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, experience with HRIS (Workday preferred), and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while safeguarding confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field or 3–5 years of HR administrative experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with HRIS systems, including queries, reports generation, and HR data analysis.
• Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and administrative processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, organized, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leadership, business partners, and union representatives to provide reporting, data analysis, and operational support.
• Use Workday HRIS to create queries, generate reports, maintain employee data, and process HR transactions.
• Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, dashboards, and HR reports to support business decisions.
• Analyze HR data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate new job creation, job codes, budget locations, vacancy approvals, and employee compensation changes.
• Support HR processes for union-represented employees, including job bidding, bumping, attendance tracking, and related reporting.
• Assist business leaders with job requisitions, employee transactions, and approval workflows.
• Maintain accurate HR databases and generate recurring and ad hoc reports for HR teams and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with union leadership and local union offices regarding employee-related processes and correspondence.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
• Support special projects, including research, data collection, process documentation, and implementation of improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR reporting, enhance data accuracy, and improve overall HR operations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information.
