Job summary

City of Cupertino seeks a Limited Term Human Resources Analyst I to perform professional HR tasks in recruitment, classification, compensation, benefits, safety and training within the Human Resources Division of the City Manager’s Office.

Under supervision, you will support recruitment, assist in training initiatives, manage benefits programs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, while maintaining confidentiality and public service orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration, or related field.
• Two years of professional HR experience in personnel selection, classification, benefits, employee development, or labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Perform recruitment and selection duties including screening, announcements, scheduling, interviewing, and candidate sourcing.
• Assist in developing City-wide training programs and manage leave/benefits administration.
• Coordinate Workers’ Compensation program and liaise with medical providers.
