Job summary

City of San José, Information Technology Department, is seeking a full-time HR Analyst in the Administration Division. The role focuses on full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, leave management, Workers' Compensation, safety, and HR process improvements.

The position reports to the Senior HR Analyst and supports department staff and stakeholders. This hybrid role allows a balance of on-site and remote work, with a 32-hour on-site and 8-hour remote weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for Analyst I/II.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR data is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle high-volume recruitment and HR support tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume and multi-hire recruitments with stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between hiring managers and HR Business Partner to ensure timely filling of vacancies.
• Onboard and offboard employees; manage onboarding processes and related documentation.
• Track recruitment metrics (vacancy rates, time-to-fill) and generate reports.
• Support performance management, Workers' Compensation, leaves of absence, and safety compliance.
