Job summary

Itron is seeking an HR AI Enablement professional to help shape the future of work with AI-powered tools and experiences. You will collaborate with HR leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders to create compliant, responsible AI solutions that enhance employee effectiveness and knowledge access.

The role focuses on copilots, conversational agents, workflow automation, and knowledge ecosystems, with a strong emphasis on governance, documentation, and adoption resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in technology, business systems, analytics, automation, HR technology, AI solutions, or related fields.
• Understanding of generative AI concepts and LLM capabilities.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, or similar tools.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into tech-enabled solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solution concepts.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Hybrid work schedule connected to Austin, TX location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and configuring AI-powered solutions using enterprise platforms and tools.
• Support development of conversational agents, copilots, automation workflows, and knowledge-grounded AI experiences.
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities improving productivity and knowledge access.
• Create prompts, instructions, knowledge structures, and test scenarios to improve performance.
• Perform testing, validation, evaluation, and user acceptance activities.
• Monitor usage and performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to responsible AI reviews, governance, risk assessments, and documentation.
• Develop user guides, training materials, and adoption resources.
• Participate in implementation projects and meet timelines and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve gaps.
• Maintain documentation on architecture decisions and procedures.
• Stay informed on emerging AI capabilities and propose practical applications.
