Itron is seeking a skilled AI Enablement professional to help design and deploy AI-powered HR solutions from Copilot Studio to knowledge repositories. You will collaborate with HR leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders to enhance employee productivity and knowledge access in a hybrid Austin-based role.

You will design prompts, test scenarios, and workflows, ensure responsible AI practices, and deliver clear user guides while supporting adoption across the organization.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, HR Technology, Business Technology, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in technology, business systems, analytics, automation, HR technology, AI solutions, or related fields.
• Understanding of generative AI concepts and large language model capabilities.
• Experience using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, or similar technologies.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technology-enabled solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in designing and configuring AI-powered solutions using approved enterprise platforms and tools.
• Supports the development of conversational agents, copilots, automation workflows, and knowledge-grounded AI experiences.
• Partners with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and employee experience teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve workforce productivity, employee experience, knowledge access, and operational efficiency.
• Creates prompts, instructions, knowledge structures, and test scenarios to improve AI solution performance.
• Performs solution testing, validation, evaluation, and user acceptance activities.
• Monitors solution usage and performance and identifies opportunities for optimization.
• Contributes to responsible AI reviews, governance processes, risk assessments, and documentation requirements.
• Develops user guides, training materials, and adoption resources.
• Participates in implementation projects and delivers assigned work within established timelines and quality expectations.
• Collaborates with technical and business teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve solution gaps.
• Maintains documentation related to architecture decisions, configurations, and operating procedures.
• Stays informed on emerging AI capabilities and recommends practical applications for business needs.

From copilots and conversational agents to workflow automation and knowledge ecosystems, you will play a key role in advancing HR's digital transformation while ensuring solutions are customer‑centric, compliant, and aligned with responsible AI principles.

Duties & Responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Human Resources Technology, Business Technology, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in technology, business systems, analytics, automation, HR technology, AI solutions, or related fields.
• Understanding of generative AI concepts and large language model capabilities.
• Experience using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, or similar technologies.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technology‑enabled solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solution concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Able to work on a hybrid schedule connected to Itron’s Austin, TX location.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting HR, employee experience, learning, talent, rewards, or people‑related business functions.
• Experience supporting HR digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with change management, user adoption, or organizational effectiveness programs.
• Exposure to prompt engineering, conversational design, knowledge management, or chatbot development.
• AI, cloud, Microsoft, or automation‑related certifications.
