Job Summary

This HR Advisor is the primary contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs. Responsibilities include responding to HR inquiries, conducting investigations, advising managers, and handling employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

1. Respond to inquiries via email, phone, and other channels regarding employee relations, policies, and procedures.
2. Guide managers in handling complex employee issues and disciplinary actions, ensuring consistency and compliance.
3. Investigate employee complaints and allegations, providing resolution and documentation.
4. Research salary and wage discrepancies and ensure policy compliance.
5. Advise on reductions in force, layoffs, and related procedures.
6. Consult with legal counsel as needed and escalate issues appropriately.
7. Assist with translation of investigative documentation if bilingual in Spanish.
8. Participate in special projects independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of HR experience in a large organization.
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including SAP and HR software.
• Knowledge of employment law across multiple states.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
