Job Summary

This individual is the primary contact for inquiries related to interpreting HR policies, procedures, and programs for all Associates and Managers. Responsibilities include responding to HR inquiries via email, phone, and other channels, handling investigations, disciplinary actions, and employee relations matters.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries regarding employee relations, interpret company policies, and refer unresolved issues to appropriate departments.
• Guide managers in handling employee disputes and disciplinary procedures, providing risk assessments for terminations.
• Investigate complaints related to working conditions, misconduct, harassment, and discrimination, and provide resolutions.
• Research salary and wage discrepancies and ensure policy compliance.
• Advise on reductions in force, layoffs, and related procedures.
• Consult with legal counsel when necessary and escalate issues appropriately.
• Assist with translation of investigative documentation if bilingual in Spanish.
• Participate in special projects independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related experience.
• At least 2 years of HR experience in a large company or supporting a business unit.
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including SAP and HR software.
• Knowledge of employment law across multiple states.
• Research, prioritization, independent work, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
