Job summary

MetroLink Tulsa is seeking an HR Assistant to perform a variety of administrative duties in the day-to-day operations of the office. This full-time role in Tulsa, OK, requires maintaining confidentiality and handling HR processes such as ADP entries, E-Verify, I-9s, and benefits inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of experience; an Associate’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of work experience.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the public and co-workers.
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills are required.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and practices is preferred, with good computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of all company and personnel information.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Prepare, maintain, update, and submit reports and logs.
  • Enter new employees in ADP and complete E-Verify for new hires.
  • Maintain I-9 information and ensure timely completion and retention.
  • Assist with recruiting, scheduling interviews, and background checks.
  • Coordinate new hire and termination paperwork and benefits inquiries.
  • Attend HR seminars and job fairs as needed.
  • Provide biweekly reports for Directors’ Meetings and monthly boards meetings.
