Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Temporary TIE HR Administrative Associate to support the employee lifecycle from recruitment through onboarding, employee support, and offboarding. This role serves as an administrative and customer-service resource for hiring managers, candidates, employees, HR staff, and University partners.

The primary location is West Pickle Research Campus, with potential backup at other campus sites.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and 1+ years of related experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, schedules, and priorities.
• Experience delivering customer service; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and independently.

Responsibilities

• Submit requests for and track HR activities including hiring, separations, interviews, and recruitments; assist with candidate communications and onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding for students, affiliates, contractors, temporary workers, and guests; respond to inquiries via HR intake channels.
• Travel to multiple locations as needed and support HR processes and events.
