University of Texas is seeking an Administrative HR Assistant at the Pickle Research Campus to support the employee lifecycle from recruitment through onboarding, onboarding coordination, and HR communications. Primary location is West Pickle Research Campus with travel to other campus locations as needed.
The role requires strong Microsoft Office skills, customer service experience, and attention to confidential information.

Location: PICKLE RESEARCH CAMPUS
Primary location will be West Pickle Research Campus with the possibility of needing some backup support at Pickle Research Campus (MER building) or our Southwest Austin location on Montopolis. Reliable transportation to travel to other locations as needed.
Purpose This role supports the employee lifecycle from recruitment through onboarding, employee support, and offboarding. It serves as an administrative and customer-service resource for hiring managers, candidates, employees, HR staff, and University partners.

8 or 8:30 am to 5: 00 p.m. M-F
Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited for through University-Wide or Open Recruiting, to include both promotional opportunities and lateral transfers. Staff who are promotion/transfer eligible may apply for positions without supervisor approval.
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
