Job summary

WR Distribution is expanding in Houston, seeking a Territory Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of Houston-based accounts. You’ll work in a pod with an Account Coordinator handling quotations and orders, freeing you to focus on field engagement with customers and market development.

The role rewards performance with a base salary of $85,000 to $90,000 plus uncapped commissions on gross profit, supported by leadership in the Houston market and a founding seat in building WR’s presence locally.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of outside B2B sales building products, doors and windows, hardware, or industrial distribution.
• Proven track record of growing accounts and opening new ones with measurable results.
• Comfort working in plants, shops, and job sites, and willingness to learn technical product details.
• Disciplined, with planned weeks, protected prospecting time, and strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Defend and grow the Houston book through regular visits and strong relationships.
• Identify what customers buy elsewhere to capture a larger share of spend.
• Open new accounts from a targeted Houston list with protected prospecting time.
• Lead with product knowledge and value, not price, and build problem-solving proposals.
• Collaborate daily with the Account Coordinator to ensure fast responses to customers.
• Plan weekly activities using data, track accounts in systems and share market learnings.
