Job summary

alliantgroup is seeking a Technical Recruiter in Houston to lead full-cycle recruitment for software and technical roles. You will partner with hiring managers to define role needs, source top talent, and deliver an excellent candidate experience while ensuring efficient, compliant hiring.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in technical recruiting, strong tech literacy, and proven negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in agency or corporate settings for technical roles.
• Solid understanding of tech terms, programming languages, and engineering roles.
• Proven ability to source and engage candidates to build talent pipelines.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills to communicate full offer value.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for Software Engineers, Technical Program Managers, Software Product Managers and related roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop recruiting strategies for positions at all levels.
• Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates to support current and future hiring needs.
• Review resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications and alignment with role requirements.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring teams and keep candidates informed throughout the process.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR to negotiate offers and manage the offer process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the ATS.
• Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and source effectiveness.
• Support onboarding coordination to help new hires transition smoothly.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, hiring efficiency, and candidate experience.
