Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades in Houston is seeking a Skilled Trades/Construction Recruiter to source, screen, and place trade professionals across multiple accounts. You will move candidates quickly through the interview process, building a strong talent pipeline and maintaining detailed records.

The role emphasizes ownership of sourcing and candidate communication, with a fast-paced environment and regular collaboration with managers to meet client staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years recruiting skilled trades / construction roles
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay on top of important details
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working program/MSP accounts through VMS platforms a plus
• Experience using Aviante and/or Fieldglass a plus
• Proven ability to work well under pressure, addressing regular high-demand requests and needs quickly
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet urgent staffing deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process for skilled trades roles: sourcing, screening, and interviewing
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and networking
• Partner with account managers and leadership to understand client staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions
• Communicate regularly with candidates to ensure a positive hiring experience
• Accurately maintain candidate data, employee files, and compliance requirements
