Job summary

Eaton’s North America Sales division seeks a Senior Sales Engineer within 50 miles of Houston, TX to drive sales of electrical product lines. You will manage customer relationships with distributors, end users and specifiers, provide technical support, and prepare bids and quotations.

You will coordinate with distributors and plants, analyze market trends, and develop strategies to achieve sales goals while communicating customer needs to product divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum three years of electrical industry experience.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Knowledge of Eaton electrical products and services.

Responsibilities

• Sell assigned product lines to targeted customers in targeted market areas.
• Coordinate sales for the assigned customer and distributor base.
• Manage all aspects of the customer relationship with distributors, customers, end users and specifiers.
• Provide timely and accurate information for order entry and quotations.
• Develop market intelligence on competitive products, customer needs and buying habits.
• Plan promotional events with distributor personnel to promote Eaton’s position.
• Prepare and present bids and quotations using company guidelines.
