Job summary

Great Bay Staffing Group is seeking a proactive packaging sales professional to lead growth in the Houston market for a corrugated manufacturing leader. This expansion-focused role lets you build your own book of business by selling custom corrugated solutions to manufacturing, logistics, and distribution clients across Greater Houston and the Gulf Coast.

You will own the territory, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, and earn a base salary with commissions in the $85-140k

Qualifications

• 3+ years of packaging sales experience, including corrugated sales.
• Proven ability to develop new business in the Houston market.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Own your territory and build relationships across Greater Houston and the Gulf Coast.
• Sell custom corrugated packaging matching customer specifications, operations, and cost goals.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to quote, close, and account management.
• Expand existing accounts while opening new ones across the region.
• Meet clients in person across Houston and nearby areas to strengthen relationships and close deals.
• Prepare proposals with RFQs, RFPs, and pricing recommendations that fit customer needs.
• Collaborate with production and design teams to deliver cost-effective custom solutions.
• Maintain a strong, forecastable pipeline using CRM tools.
• Stay current on local market trends and the competitive landscape.
