Job summary

Vistra Energy is seeking a Business Field Sales Executive to acquire commercial customers in and around Houston, TX. The role offers a competitive base with uncapped commission, comprehensive benefits, and a car allowance with cell phone reimbursement.

Primary duties include prospecting, presenting tailored energy solutions, and maintaining a robust pipeline. A Bachelor’s degree and strong communication, negotiation, and CRM skills are required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalency required or preferred
• Bilingual is a plus (Spanish preferred)
• Proficient with Excel, CRM, and web-based tools
• Strong sales pitch and closing skills
• Able to negotiate and overcome resistance
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Must reside in or near the Houston, TX area

Responsibilities

• Contact commercial customers around Houston, TX from a defined prospecting list.
• Present competitive business solutions meeting customer needs.
• Manage prospects in assigned territory and build a sales pipeline.
• Maintain records and complete reports for pipeline development.
• Collect market and competitor info to improve channel success.
• Maintain open communication within the group and supporting work teams.
• Assist in presenting results and recommendations to management.
