Job summary

ColumbiaCare Services seeks an On Call Supportive Housing Associate to assist adults with severe mental illness in housing programs in Southern Oregon, including Ashland. You will help with resources, healthcare access, housing processes, and daily living supports, while maintaining empathy and crisis-responsive care.

The role requires crisis de-escalation training, driving ability, and flexible scheduling (nights/weekends).

Qualifications

• Empathy and active listening to support adults with mental illness.
• Crisis de-escalation training and safe handling.
• Ability to work as part of a direct care team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate access to community resources and assist tenants with health care arrangements.
• Assist with housing applications, move-in arrangements, and medication administration.
• Provide daily support, problem solving, and socialization encouragement.
