Job summary

NAYA Family Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Services Manager to lead our Rent and Energy Assistance programs within the Housing and Stabilization Services Department. You will oversee staff, funding requirements, participant eligibility, and program outcomes while coordinating with funders and partners to deliver critical resources for Native communities.

Responsibilities include supervision, grants support, budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with contract standards.

Qualifications

At least three years of experience supporting participants with housing resources or critical needs.
Three years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience managing multiple funding streams, program requirements, and contracts.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and support Energy Assistance Specialists and Rent Assistance Advocates; hiring, training, coaching, and feedback.
Serve as primary contact with public and private funding agencies for rent and energy programs.
Oversee participant eligibility, documentation, QA, disbursement approval, and funder requirements.
Monitor program spending with Housing and Stabilization Services Director and Finance team.
Track program and contract outcomes and report successes and challenges to leadership.
Conduct 13-point reviews of energy assistance applications and address funder actions.
