Job summary

NAYA Family Center seeks an experienced Emergency Services Manager to lead its Housing and Stabilization Services. You will supervise Energy Assistance Specialists and Rent Assistance Advocates, oversee program operations, and ensure compliance with funder requirements while delivering critical services to Native community members.

The role involves coordinating with funders, staff, and partners, maintaining required documentation, and contributing to system improvements.

Qualifications

• Three years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience supporting participants with housing resources or other critical needs.
• Experience writing grants, funder reports, government proposals, or related documents.
• Knowledge of Assertive Engagement, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and strengths-based services preferred.
• Experience working with Native communities and diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support Energy Assistance Specialists and Rent Assistance Advocates.
• Serve as primary contact with funding agencies for rent and energy assistance programs.
• Oversee participant eligibility, documentation, QA, and disbursements per funder requirements.
• Monitor program spending and resource management with Finance and Leadership.
• Prepare narrative and budget reports for funders with Directors and Data staff.
• Support grant writing and government proposals as requested.
