Job summary

The People Concern is hiring a Case Manager for the Westside Administration Office in Santa Monica. You will support households at risk of homelessness by providing flexible financial assistance, case management, and referrals to legal and community services. The role requires outreach, rapid documentation, and advocacy with landlords to stabilize housing.

Openings: 3. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 403(b) retirement, EAP, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent.
• Minimum of one year case management or customer service experience.
• Able to communicate with subcontractors and community partners in a culturally competent manner.
• Valid CA driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Initiate outreach to high risk participants in the community.
• Educate on resources and assist with FFA online applications.
• Assess housing barriers and determine needs for services.
• Prioritize and assess vulnerability for each participant/household.
• Collaborate with fiscal agents and counsel programs to submit requests.
• Develop individualized housing stabilization goals and plan.
