Job summary

Big-Valley-Rancheria is seeking a Housing Services & Wraparound Specialist to provide housing support and case management for tribal members who are homeless or at risk. The role includes intake, assessments, benefits advocacy, housing placement, and coordination with landlords and service providers.

The position requires strong communication, organizational, and recordkeeping skills, with experience in housing programs and familiarity with CDSS-funded initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in human services, social work, housing programs, case management, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of CDSS funded housing requirements, eligibility, rent calculations, and recertifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake, outreach, assessments, and case management to identify housing needs and services.
• Process housing program applications and verify required documents.
• Assist participants with benefit applications (SSI/SSDI) and documents.
• Help obtain identification and housing-ready documentation.
• Develop individualized housing and stability plans with participants.
• Coordinate housing searches, landlord communication, and re-housing as needed.
• Provide ongoing housing stabilization, eviction prevention, budgeting, and life-skills support.
• Maintain participant files, case notes, and program documentation.
• Track and report program data and coordinate with landlords and service providers.
