Job summary

The Salvation Army in Waterbury, CT is seeking a full-time Housing Program Supervisor to support families and individuals experiencing homelessness. You will supervise Housing Support Workers and Cooks, provide direct case management, and coordinate with community resources to move clients into permanent housing under a Housing First approach.

Qualifications

• A degree in human services or a related field is required.
• Two years of case management experience or five years of case management experience.
• Ability to collaborate with personnel, service providers, or professionals.
• Excellent communication skills, including listening and writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop strength-based housing plans and assist with permanent housing goals.
• Supervise Housing Support Workers and Cooks and ensure 24-hour staffing.
• Complete 90-day and annual staff evaluations and monthly reports.
• Maintain HMIS data and participate in program development.
• Engage with community partners to coordinate housing services.
