DESC seeks a dedicated Housing Stability Specialist to partner with the CSS team in Seattle, providing client-centered plans to promote housing retention and independent living. You will work with residents who have complex behavioral health needs, coordinating with treatment teams and landlords to reach long-term housing goals.

The role emphasizes high client engagement, creativity, independence, and teamwork, with a focus on measurable outcomes and compassionate support.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain an Agency Affiliated Counselor license soon after hire.
• Strong communication with diverse backgrounds and clients.
• Experience working with individuals with complex behavioral health needs.

Responsabilités

• Participate in multi-disciplinary team providing services to adults with severe mental illness.
• Advocate for access to community resources and ensure continuity of care.
• Develop Housing Stability Plan with residents and monitor progress toward goals.
• Assist with unit inspection prep and housing retention barriers.
• Document client interactions according to agency standards and submit reports.
• Collaborate to support independent living and community participation.
