Job summary

DESC is seeking a dedicated Clinical Support Specialist in Seattle, WA to work within an integrated care team providing and coordinating clinical services for tenants. The role supports case management, trauma‑informed care, and collaboration with DESC staff and external providers.

You will develop ISP plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely service provision while promoting housing stability and tenant well‑being at DESC facilities.

Qualifications

• AAC license in Washington State or ability to obtain soon after hire.
• Clinical experience with homeless adults with complex needs (mental health, substance use).
• Knowledge of local homeless, mental health, and chemical dependency services.
• Ability to communicate and work with diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work with clients displaying challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate tenant engagement with trauma-informed, culturally relevant approaches.
• Develop and update an Integrated Service Plan (ISP) with tenants and staff.
• Coordinate case management elements with DESC and external providers.
• Support tenants in maintaining safe, healthy units and navigating inspections.
• Provide direct case management services not covered by other providers.
• Maintain regular contact to monitor progress toward ISP goals.
• Document interactions according to agency guidelines.
