Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a Housing Specialist to support the FHARPS program, focusing on housing stability for individuals facing housing insecurity in Spokane County. You will partner with housing resources, provide in-person and outreach services, and help clients navigate housing options with a person-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Must apply for Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential from WA State DOH within 30 days of hire.
• Must have an unrestricted and valid driver’s license and be willing to use personal vehicle for work.
• Ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and socio-economic statuses.

Responsibilities

• Develop a collaborative individualized housing plan with strong action steps.
• Contact eligible individuals within one calendar day of referral.
• Update the Housing Plan as needs or circumstances change.
• Complete progress notes documenting progress toward permanent housing.
• Coordinate with landlords, housing resources, and voucher programs for placement.
