Job summary

Pioneer Human Services seeks a Supportive Housing Specialist to support clients through housing stability, community integration, and access to services in the Seattle area. You will collaborate with landlords, housing authorities, treatment teams, and community partners to develop person-centered plans and assist with leases, housing applications, and benefits.

This role requires trauma-informed practice, empathetic advocacy, and strong documentation to meet program guidelines and ensure

Qualifications

  • AA degree in related field.
  • 2 years’ experience working with individuals who experience behavioral health challenges.
  • Must obtain and maintain an Agency Affiliated Counselor credential within 7 days of employment.
  • May occasionally need to transport clients; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching, education, support, and skill-building related to housing stability and community integration goals.
  • Deliver services using SAMHSA Evidence-Based Practices that support the fidelity model for Supportive Housing.
  • Operate from a person-centered lens that honors participant choice and self-determination in housing decisions.
  • Ensure services are trauma-informed, respectful, and focused on dignity and empowerment.
  • Complete housing needs assessments and assist with leases and housing documents.
  • Maintain data systems and timely documentation of services and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with landlords and housing authorities to expand housing options and resolve issues.
