Job summary

St. Joseph the Worker in Phoenix seeks a Housing Expert to work with staff, community partners, and clients to deliver housing solutions aimed at ending homelessness.

You’ll prescreen, coach, educate, and provide ongoing support, reporting outcomes to strengthen the program. This role uses a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach with weekly client check-ins, data entry in Salesforce, and collaboration with Televerde Foundation for wraparound services.

Qualifications

• BS in Social Work or related field is preferred but not required.
• 4 years' experience in related field is expected.
• Experience with direct service to vulnerable communities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review prescreens to determine program fit.
• Schedule intakes and assist with move-ins.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and life skills support.
• Maintain client notes in Salesforce within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with community partners for wraparound services.
• Attend weekly case-conferencing meetings and share updates.
• Document exits and follow retention schedules.
• Generate data-informed reports to support program growth.
