Job summary

Mercy House is seeking a Housing Solutions Case Manager to join the Permanent Housing Team in Santa Ana, CA. The role involves assessing needs, developing individualized housing plans, and delivering client-centered services to residents of the Permanent Supportive Housing Program.

You will work to screen clients for eligible services, provide life skills workshops, and advocate for housing stability while maintaining trauma-informed and confidential practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (or related field) required.
• 2+ years direct life experience with long-term homeless populations welcomed.
• Spanish language ability is highly valued.
• Valid CA driver’s license and reliable vehicle may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 17–30 residents and develop individual housing plans.
• Provide client-centered services using harm-reduction principles.
• Apply crisis prevention and intervention techniques.
• Practice trauma-informed care in all interactions with residents.
• Coordinate life-skills workshops (job search, parenting, finance).
• Organize community-building events and ensure proper documentation.
