Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of experience in social work, human services, or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Valid Michigan driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Clear DHS Central Registry and Criminal History Record Check.
• SOAR Certification must be obtainable within one year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments for housing needs and eligibility.
• Assist with housing search, landlord negotiations, and placement.
• Provide outreach to individuals at risk of homelessness.
• Maintain records for Coordinated Entry and funder reporting.
• Connect clients to services for income, health, legal aid and more.
• Collaborate with Housing Coordinator to support grant goals.
