Job summary

Symba Center, a faith-based nonprofit in Redlands, CA, seeks a Case Manager/Housing Navigator to identify, secure, and expand housing opportunities for clients experiencing homelessness and those receiving street medicine services. You will provide advocacy, case management, and tailored support to help clients secure stable housing and work toward independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in social services, nursing, behavioral science, or related field is preferred.
• Experience in case management or housing navigation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify, secure, and expand housing inventory to support Symba Center programs and client needs.
• Develop relationships with landlords, property managers, housing authorities, and service providers to increase access to housing.
• Conduct housing inspections and complete required reports and documentation.
• Prepare rent reasonableness assessments in compliance with funding requirements.
• Assist clients with housing searches, applications, and documentation.
• Advocate for clients with landlords and providers to support access and stability.
• Coordinate housing transitions including move-in planning and relocation logistics.
• Develop housing stabilization plans and crisis intervention strategies.
