Job summary

Abode is seeking a Unit Matcher for Alameda County programs to connect participants with suitable housing opportunities from the inventory database that reflect their needs and preferences. The role works closely with Housing Navigators to keep inventory aligned with participant goals and program objectives.

You will participate in meetings with participants and Housing Navigators, help explain the placement process, and coach participants on realistic housing options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in housing or social services preferred.
• Valid California driver's license, auto insurance and clean DMV record required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with participants and Housing Navigators to identify housing opportunities matching needs.
• Explain the housing placement process and support participants through it.
• Provide coaching about units, neighborhoods and amenities likely available.
• Match participants to units and coordinate viewings with Housing Specialists.
• Update inventory status and ensure units are removed/returned as needed.
• Provide weekly inventory reports to Housing Specialists and Managers.
• Collaborate with Real Estate and Housing Specialists to reflect participant needs in inventory.
• Regular data entry in Salesforce and ensure file compliance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agreements and fair housing laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
