Job summary

Abode Services is seeking a Real Estate Specialist to secure housing opportunities for homeless households in Alameda County. The role focuses on cultivating landlords, pursuing multi-unit rental opportunities, and conducting thorough housing search and outreach to maintain a ready inventory for clients.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a California driver’s license, and at least 3 years in housing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Real Estate license preferred or equivalent field experience.
• Must have valid California driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an inventory of housing opportunities for program participants.
• Conduct landlord outreach to recruit landlords and secure units.
• Coordinate with County programs and attend meetings to align housing efforts.
• Pursue multi-unit rental opportunities and negotiate leases.
• Network with landlords and property managers to expand housing options.
• Serve as liaison with landlords and Real Estate Accounts Specialists.
• Perform inspections prior to move-in and ensure compliance with HQS.
