Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, and additional technical training in construction.
• Two (2) years of experience in construction or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior inspections to enforce housing, building, and zoning codes.
• Issue notices of violation and ensure compliance; prepare reports and maintain records.
• Interact with homeowners, contractors and tenants to explain code requirements.
