Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conducts residential and commercial inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, ordinances, and approved plans.
• Reviews plans, site plans, permit applications, and related documents for compliance.
• Identifies code violations and conducts follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions.
• Issues notices or documentation regarding violations and enforces compliance with city codes.
• Coordinates with contractors and city staff to resolve discrepancies between plans and site conditions.
