Job summary

The Salvation Army Family Haven Shelter in St. Louis, Missouri, seeks a Case Manager to provide comprehensive case management to individuals and families in the program.

You will develop plans to increase functioning and resettle clients in permanent housing, and participate in all phases of case management to advance these plans. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with starting pay of $46,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services with 1 year related experience.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and ability to work with diverse cultures.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; knowledge of Salvation Army resources helpful.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and pass TSA MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments for shelter residents to determine client needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor family case management plans for self-sufficiency and housing.
• Provide case management services and regular meetings; conduct resident room inspections.
• Offer information and referrals on education, employment, housing, budgeting, and utilities.
