Job summary

NYCHA is seeking an Affordable Housing Project Manager to support a range of construction activities from preconstruction through closeout. The role requires strong leadership with the Project Executive to keep projects on budget, schedule and in conformance with design documents.

You will help develop bidding strategies, lead logistics with PMs and supers, and coordinate subcontractors for timely on-site delivery while maintaining compliance with codes and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of related experience in construction/project management.
• Field-based construction site experience is required.
• Experience with affordable housing rehabilitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Executive in all assigned projects, from preconstruction to closeout.
• Lead project team with PE to meet budget, schedule and design conformance.
• Develop bidding strategy, scope, schedule and bid leveling with PE and VP of Construction.
