Job summary

National Community Renaissance seeks a Community Manager I for Angelus Senior Housing in Rosemead, CA. You will oversee all admin, compliance, and maintenance to maintain occupancy while partnering with Hope Through Housing to deliver resident programs.

You will supervise 1-2 on-site staff, manage budgeting, rent collection in Yardi, and coordinate with city and service providers. A high school diploma and 2–5 years in property management are required, with Tax Credit Certification training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in property management preferred; Tax Credit Certification training encouraged within first year.
• Proficient with Yardi and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Compliance: Maintain resident files and Yardi data per policy; review notices and recertifications.
• Property operations: Manage vacancies, notices, site inspections, and budgets; coordinate with Resident Services.
• Financial: Balance petty cash, process deposits, and post payments in Yardi; prepare month-end reports; manage aging receivables.
• Human Resources: Supervise 1–2 on-site staff; conduct evaluations and training; maintain positive cross-department relations.
• Customer Service: Respond to resident complaints promptly and professionally; foster a caring community.
• Resident Programs: Design and manage resident programs and ensure ongoing success.
• Community Relations: Maintain relationships with City staff and social service partners.
• General: Attend company events and perform other duties as assigned.
