Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island seeks a dedicated case manager to support families experiencing homelessness within the Permanent Supportive Housing Program. You will coordinate interventions, access benefits, and work with housing providers to ensure client success.

The role is on-site at Lucy’s Hearth in Middletown, RI, with occasional field visits to apartments across Aquidneck Island and rotating on-call duties. A valid driver’s license and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in human services or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Experience with diverse populations and community resources.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance required.
• Bilingual/ASL or multilingual skills may increase compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to families in the Permanent Supportive Housing Program.
• Initiate interventions and connect clients to mainstream benefits and community resources.
• Support landlord relationships and client success during housing program.
• Travel to families' apartments across Aquidneck Island and participate in on-call duties.
