Job summary

Family Service of RI (FSRI) seeks a dedicated case manager to support families in Permanent Supportive Housing. You will coordinate services, assist with benefits, and foster landlord relationships while visiting families in their homes across Aquidneck Island.

The role requires an associates degree in a human services field or equivalent experience, strong organization, and a valid driver’s license. Bilingual/ASL or multilingual abilities influence compensation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in human services or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Experience with diverse populations and coordinating with agencies and lenders.
• Strong organizational, computer and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance required.
• Bilingual/ASL and multilingual skills may add compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to families experiencing homelessness in the Permanent Supportive Housing Program.
• Initiate intervention strategies to help clients access services and improve self-sufficiency.
• Assist clients in obtaining mainstream benefits and coordinate with community resources.
• Support landlord relationships and client tenancy success during PSHP.
• Work on-site at Lucy’s Hearth in Middletown and visit families across Aquidneck Island.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties as assigned.
