Job summary

Five Rivers Hospitality Group is seeking a houseperson to ensure guest areas are clean and welcoming. You will assist with delivering guest-requested items and support housekeeping managers with various duties to maintain a high standard of service.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of housekeeping or houseperson experience and a strong commitment to outstanding customer service. This role expects a courteous, proactive team player who can handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of hotel public areas (hallways, meeting rooms, lobbies).
• Assist in delivering guest-requested items (amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding).
• Perform tasks assigned by housekeeping managers.
• Provide high level of service by anticipating and responding to guest needs.
• Make deliveries to guest rooms for requested items.
• Ensure clean environment in guest rooms, corridors and lobby.

We're searching for a houseperson with exceptional people skills who is enthusiastic and courteous to make sure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay.

We require a multi-talented person capable of handling a wide range of duties. Responsibilities for this position include keeping hotel public areas clean, such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies. Additionally, you will help deliver guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and bedding, and perform any specially assigned tasks by housekeeping managers.

Our ideal applicant has at least one year of housekeeping or houseperson experience, as well as a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Compensation: $17.13 - $19 hourly

Qualifications

• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification (GED)
• Must have 1 or more years experience as a houseperson, housekeeper, or similar position in hospitality field
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning and maintaining the hotel's exterior spaces such as the parking lot, swimming pool, landscaping, etc
• Assist in setup/cleanup of meeting rooms
• Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers
