Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly houseperson to help ensure guests have a wonderful stay through courteous, attentive service and a can-do attitude.

You will clean public areas such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies, and assist by delivering amenities (cribs, rollaway beds, bedding) and handling special tasks for housekeeping managers.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Guest-first mindset and exceptional customer service.
• 1+ year experience as houseperson/housekeeper or similar in hospitality.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, lobby, and other spaces.
• Walk assigned floors at shift start and collect trash and soiled linens as directed.
• Deliver requested amenities (rollaway beds, cribs, bedding) to guest rooms.
• Retrieve and distribute clean linens from storage to each floor.
• Anticipate and respond quickly to guest requests to ensure excellent service.

We're searching for a houseperson with exceptional people skills who is enthusiastic and courteous to make sure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay. We require a multi-talented person capable of handling a wide range of duties. Responsibilities for this position include keeping hotel public areas clean, such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies. Additionally, you will help deliver guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and bedding, and perform any specially assigned tasks by housekeeping managers. Our ideal applicant has at least one year of housekeeping or houseperson experience, as well as a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Compensation

$18 hourly

Qualifications

• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• Must have 1 or more years experience as a houseperson, housekeeper, or similar position in hospitality field
• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification (GED)
• Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the guest rooms and hallways, as well as the lobby and other workspaces
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning of the shift and collect trash, soiled linen, and other items per management requests
• Deliver requested amenities such as rollaway beds, cribs, blankets, etc. to guest rooms
• Retrieve clean linens from housekeeping storage facilities and distribute them to each floor
• Ensure the highest level of customer service by anticipating and responding quickly to visitors' requests
