HEI Hotels & Resorts in Birmingham, AL is seeking a detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe guest rooms and public spaces at Residence Inn Birmingham Downtown at UAB. You will follow cleaning procedures, handle linens and amenities, report maintenance needs, and ensure a courteous guest experience in a fast-paced environment within the Five Points South district.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and extend arms over head.
• Must be willing to pitch in and help co-workers.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Strip beds and change linens, lifting bedspreads up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, ledges and shelves.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens and supplies in guest rooms.
• Restock heavy cart and verify room cleanliness.
